Wedding Officiant in Austin & Kyle, Texas

Your ceremony should sound like you and not like a script read at you. I'm Katina, a wedding officiant and commissioned Texas Notary Public based in Kyle, serving couples across Austin, and surrounding areas. I officiate everything from a quite 5-minute sign-and-go to a fully personalized ceremony built around your story and your own vows. I handle the paperwork with the same care I bring to my notary work. I sign your marriage license at the ceremony and file it for you, so you can stay in the celebration.

Wedding Ceremony

We offer a range of specialized services tailored to meet your individual needs. Our approach is focused on understanding and responding to what you require, providing effective and practical solutions.

Love and Signature Starting at $100

The simple, legal, done-in-minutes option. A short sign-and-go ceremony that meets all legal requirements for marriage in Texas. Perfect for elopements, courthouse-style weddings, and couples saving the big celebration for later. I meet you at an agreed location, perform the brief ceremony, sign your marriage license, and file it for you. Quick does not mean cold: it is still a real moment, and I treat it like one.

Every package includes signing and filing your marriage license. Travel within 20 miles of Kyle is included; ceremonies farther away may add a travel fee of $0.75 per mile round trip.

Whispers of Forever Starting at $200

A small, sweet ceremony without the planning load. I perform a short, pre-written ceremony script — warm, romantic, and ready to go — for intimate weddings with your closest people. This package includes signing and filing your marriage license. No rehearsal is included, and none is needed: you show up, I guide you through every word. A lovely fit for backyard, park, and small-venue weddings.

Two Souls, One Promise Starting at $400

A ceremony written for the two of you. This personalized package gives your ceremony room to breathe. This is your story, your readings, and a script provided for you, or your own custom vows if you would rather write them. Ideal for full weddings where the ceremony is the heart of the day, not just a formality before the reception. Includes signing and filing your marriage license, handled promptly after the ceremony.

How it works

  1. Check your date. Call or text 737-424-0194, or book a wedding consultation online, and confirm I am available on your date.
  2. We talk it through. A short consultation covers your package, your venue, and the feel you want — simple and legal, short and sweet, or fully personalized.
  3. Get your marriage license. Before the ceremony, the two of you obtain your marriage license from a Texas county clerk's office and bring it with you on the day. (General information only — the clerk's office can confirm current requirements, waiting periods, and fees.)
  4. Ceremony day — and after. I arrive early, perform your ceremony, sign the license with you, and file it as your package describes, so your marriage is properly recorded.

Frequently asked questions

Every love story deserves a beautiful beginning. Whether you envision heartfelt vows, a romantic elopement, or a simple sign-and-go to make your forever official, we’re here to help you celebrate your love in your own way. Below, you’ll find answers to common questions about our wedding officiant services, so you can spend less time wondering about the details and more time looking forward to “I do.”

How far in advance should we book?

As early as you can for Saturdays and popular dates — several weeks to a few months is comfortable. That said, elopements and sign-and-go ceremonies can often be arranged on short notice, so call or text even if your date is close.

Do you do elopements or same-day ceremonies?

Yes. The Love and Signature package was made for elopements and courthouse-style weddings, and same-day ceremonies are possible when my schedule allows. You will still need your marriage license in hand — the two of you obtain it from a Texas county clerk before the ceremony.

Do we need a rehearsal?

Only if you want one. Whispers of Forever needs no rehearsal, and most small ceremonies do not either. For a larger wedding party, a rehearsal helps everyone relax — it is available as an add-on

Who files our marriage license?

I do. I sign the license at your ceremony and file it afterward, as described in every package above.
